We are seeing the first indications of a change in Auckland's rental market

This winter high of rentals in Auckland peaked below last years high at 6550

Currently there are 5868 rentals on Trademe, which is up 59% from a year ago

We are now just below the record high availability of 6435 properties seen in May 2022.

Things have changed quickly and substantially. Over the past 4 months rentals available have increased by around 65%.

Things have settled down over the past 4 months. Currently rental stock in Auckland is just slightly higher than at the same time last year.
